Has there every been a shittier slate of Thursday games to start a season? When Miss. St.-Memphis iw the most conpeling thing on the board, might as well mow the line.

In fact, only two attractive games all weekend, and both scheduled at the same time. Thanks for nothing Disney.

State coaching staff suspends several players for tonight's game with little info to explain why.
They probably still win, but the players don't get a chance to ready themselves for Auburn.

I don't blame teams for not wanting to open on the Thursday before Labor Day weekend.

Why would Wake and Syracuse decide to play on a Thursday if it isn't on TV?

It's not really college football season until Spurrier yanks his starting QB.

What's that? Stephen Garcia benched for Connor Shaw?

    Season on.

Why the hell did this Kentucky-Western Kentucky game start at 9:15 p.m. Eastern? And why is it in Nashville?

Good lord, how stupid is Tom O'Brien? Why in the world would you run off Russell WIlson?

(I'm too magnanimous to mention how Al Groh didn't offer him a scholarship.)

I was just looking over TCU game notes for Friday's game vs. Baylor, and they throw in this tidbit:

t TCU offensive tackle Jeff Olson got engaged July 15, 2011 to
    Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Kaitlin Ilseng.
t Olson is believed to be the only 300-pound offensive lineman
in TCU history to be engaged to a Cowboys’ cheerleader.

Cuse covered the 6 pt line

And Jesus Muscatel's WKU Toppers continue to hang in with Kentucky.
