    Pretty damn disingenuous from his father, since there's ample documentation that his kid was his drinking and golf buddy. And this is the same father who got him a luxury car if he promised to stop drinking -- for his 16th birthday.

    Agree with Dick.

    In my hometown it was a rite of passage for the parents to drink with their (way too young) kids. And the dad wouldn't be the first parent to regret inflicting his child with affluenza.

    I mean, he is worried for his son's life. Kinda trumps pride when you think about it.

    Weird that his dad said "if THEY don't get him help ..."

    Shouldn't it be "if WE don't get him help"?
