This was the lead story on my local TV news tonight. People say this doll is saying "Islam is the light."

Are they crazy, or just nuts?

Oh, they're nuts. Nuts for linking Islam with something negative.

Did I miss the story explaining what noise or set of words the doll is supposed to say?

It's just supposed to make goo-goo ga-ga baby noises.

Even if its intended to say, "Islam is the light", it's real classy for the reporter to say matter-of-factly that the phrase is a "message of hate".

Stay classy sub-moronic sweeps week correspondent.

And the news editor that allowed that nonsense on the air...

And if you turn the doll backwards it says "It's fun to smoke marijuana ... "

I thought the same thing. Didn't get what the reporter was getting at at all.
