I don't really follow Sun Belt Conference basketball, but with Isaiah and Jarvis, this could become a must-see conference.

Too bad the football conference doesn't follow suit. Florida International actually pulled off a few wins this year (even though they were 28-point underdogs in most of their games). The last few years, the Fla. Int. vs. North Texas game got circled on my calendar at the beginning of the season. You won't see any D-I football played at such a horrific level anywhere else.

The Sun Belt is a retirement home for old coaches.

    Currently:
FAU: Mike Jarvis (St. Johns, Boston U, George Washington)
    Arkansas State: John Brady (LSU)
Middle Tenn.: Kermit Davis (Texas A&M)

    In the past:
    UALR: Wimp Sanderson (Alabama)
South Alabama, FIU: Bob Weltlich (Texas, Ole Miss)

It should be malpractice to hire Zeke, anywhere, for anything.

Eh ... Miami's had that for years until Andrew tore it up.

He's already sent the Bulls 3 scholarships for Aaron Grey.

Why? Isiah Thomas retired 15 years ago. Current HS juniors were 2-3 years old.

I'm sure Isiah is working on the FIU secretaries to get their "verbals" as we speak.

Small time school hires a big name, irrespective of actual coaching ability. Oh, well, I'm sure he'll recruit a few inner-city guys and get some wins out of it.

And you thought retirement nest eggs disappeared in a hurry.
