Cats are VERY good judges of character. My husband passed the cat test 10 years ago. I told him upfront the first time he visited (we lived far apart when we met) that if the cats didn't like him, we were done. They liked him.
I dated a guy once, many years ago. He walked in the house. The cat look at him. Peed on the floor, right then and there. She was right. Took me three months to figure it out. Took her three seconds.
