    That's a tough one for me. I think Van Halen was much better with David Lee Roth than with Sammy Hagar, who I like more as a solo artist.

    My favorite Van Halen albums are the first one and 5150. 1984 is good, but hasn't aged well. The other David Lee Roth albums are OK. The other Hagar albums are bad. I'm always surprised that love exists for 0U812 and For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. The Gary Cherone album is an abortion.
