Someone told me about a movie coming out about
pitchers from India. Did not hear about nor can I find anything
    on it.

I did not even know that India had baseball.

"Million Dollar Arm," out in theaters now. Jon Hamm plays the agent, Bill Paxton plays pitching coach Tom House.

And here's the details on the two pitchers, one of whom is still in the Pirates' chain.

It's a Disney film. They usually don't promote much.

Boston's not a college town, either.

Ken Rosenthal, Bob Nightengale, Jayson Stark, Scott Miller, Tom Verducci and Jeff Passan make cameos!

I am barely connected to the outside world in terms of pop culture and I've even seen the ad for this 45 times.

That would have almost been worth the lawsuit it would have precipitated. ;)

"Based on a true story," just like "Secretariat," which they fucked up nine ways from Sunday.

Hamm also given back page column of SI this week. Is Time Inc. looking to get bought by Disney?
