Is there a limit on (the button), or does my computer just suck?

I've had people pop up as ignored, even though I hadn't ignored them.
A little message would pop up saying that poster was on ignore, and another button would pop up asking if I wanted to unignore them.
I would, because why would I block The JG or Zeke? Those were two that I remember, it happened on a couple of others as well.
It was odd.

 

One view was that public ignores would hinder job searches.

I always thought it was funny to look and see how many ignores people had.

 

The root of the classic "you're at the Baskins-Robbins of fail, getting 31 flavors of GTFO" from Mystery Meat. And Piotr, if I were searching for a job, what would the ignore total for "dooley_womack1" do to hurt me, given that I wouldn't put my handle on my resume?

The most I ever had was 10; a surprise for how low. Lugnuts also had 10 at one time, bewilderingly high.

 

I was surprised by my one. At the time I'd never even cursed on this site. I couldn't believe I'd pissed someone off enough for them to ignore me. Now I'm curious if anyone is ignoring me now.

 

I guess I'll have to bump my own post to keep this thread going.

 

I remember the day my ignores went from 5-6 to somewhere in the 30s after someone used all their sockpuppets on everyone who made fun of him.
