Granted, the Red Raiders were playing a NCAA Division II team, but 167 points? Holy shit.

    Maybe it's the Grinnell/VMI offense. :D

I just don't get scheduling Division II teams in the regular season.

Exhibition season? Fine. But you can't tell me you can't at least dig up some scrub D I team for a buy game -- even if the prices for them are getting exorbitant.

That win won't even count in the RPI for Texas Tech. So, other than whatever money it generates by putting the game on (can't believe it was that much), there is no real good to come from it.

Ninety points in the freaking second half. Absurd.

It's amazing how well they play when given a chance to "loosen up."

The old man had them playing too tense for too long.

I think it's pretty remarkable that no Tech player scored more than 20 points.

Hell, Davidson opened its season against Guilford. And it was an exhibition for Guilford, a real game for Davidson. How in hell does THAT work? And Richmond had a real game with Randolph-Macon. Yet Longwood, which hosts Virginia-Wise, Virginia Intermont and Southern Virginia this season, can't find room on the sked for Hampden-Sydney. Go figure.
