    Republicans/conservatives are smart.

    The boobs in "the base" are not, not least of all because they actually believe that the politicians they vote for believe a word of their anti-evolution, anti-climate change, anti-science bullshit.

    Republicans do not have the best interests of women at the heart of most of their legislation. So I don't think it's being close-minded to say that women who vote for them are willfully uninformed or obstinate.

    Because being dirt poor with no high school diploma and four kids by three different fathers has worked out so well for women on the left.
