Is MLB All Star Ballot Nominee Selections Fair?

    That sucks. What if an AL team had really good DH and a really good first baseman. Could happen if the Red Sox go get a quality first baseman or maybe Ryan Garko emerges over the next year or two as a big time first baseman in Cleveland.

    Same thing happened with the Tigers this year. Curtis Granderson got left off the ballot, in place of Sheffield.

    So Paul Konerko or Jim Thome is not on the ballot?
