Upon further review, this is a bad idea. Because Canada might very well invade your house and slaughter your cat, not to mention you and everyone you love:

"Operation Op Timis Preem" Yep. Says so right there.

Hmmm.... Snarf could be fun, too.

I'm not getting much girlfriend support on the whole Megatron thing. She says it would be like naming our cat after a thing and that she would feel like we didn't love him. Or something like that. Attempts to discern her logic proved even more confusing.

But we don't get the cat until Sept. 1, so there's still time to convince her think of a new name.

This is by far the best suggestion.
'Mulva' would be a close second.

Good news! We have settled on a name.

And the winner is ... Snarf.

All it took was: an impromptu dissertation on my part as to why it would be an awesome name, including -- and this can not be understated -- the fact that it would mean the cat wouldn't be named Megatron (this was a big selling point), and then quick viewing of the Thundercats pilot episode. Done and done.

Thanks for all the help (and occasional insults)!

From Megatron to Snarf? Damn, that's a hell of a downgrade.
