Is KSU coach Frank Martin always this way?

I don't know anything about Frank Martin, the Kansas State coach, other than what I see on the television or read from his pressers.

But is he always this animated, crazy, assholish or whatever adjective you want to use?

Sounds like he's a pretty good coach with a teeny fuse made of nitroglycerin.

    The answer to your question...

Yes. He is all of these things.

How dare the media ask such questions? Don't they know a short statement right before tip-off should suffice, especially after the team lost because those players weren't available? Why would there be such questions on that topic? [bluefont]

One of Huggins' guys is an asshole? I'm shocked. Shocked, I tell you.

He's Calipari without the success. Every program he's been associated with, going back to his HS coaching days, has been shady as hell.

Frank, you're way off here. We still think you are a moron.

BUT... Martin has kept Kansas State, in Manhattan, Kansas, important in college basketball.

    That means something.

Huggins got them the initial buzz during his one year in Manhattan. Before that: Woolridge and Asbury failed spectacularly. Dana Altman was leading K-State in the right direction before he was bizarrely fired in 1994 as K-State thought they could land Tubby Smith.

Frank Martin is crazy. But that works in Manhattan. Otherwise, they'll go back to 14-18 every year.

Martin's craziness will only work as long as K-State wins.

    See - Mangino, Mark.

No doubt. Love watching his teams. They play hard. Don't doubt his ability to coach or recruit. I doubt his ability to sustain. Dude is going to have a coronary acting like that.
