Is Kevin Smith serious about Clerks III?

    THE BEGINNING OF THE END
    20 years ago today, we started shooting CLERKS.
    20 years later, with no plan or provocation, I jumped out of bed at 4:20 this morning and started writing CLERKS III.
    It's been like hanging out with old friends.
    And after 2 hours of tapping the keys and giggling, I have come to a conclusion...
    CLERKS III will be the best film I'll ever make.
    ======

    The 4:20 makes me think it's a ruse or an early April Fools joke. I sure hope it is, anyway.

    I thought Clerks 2 was OK, although of course it couldn't match the off-the-cuff fun of the original.

    Not really sure where he can go with C3.

    Dante and Randal get old and fat, Jay and Silent Bob go corporate. Ho hum.
