    Just saying but when he first got to Washington Donald Rumsfeld was such a good softball player that he was considered a ringer.

    Do you think Rummy was a lesbian?

    Unfortunately, there absolutely is a lesbian stereotype associated with female softball players.

    For women, softball is code for being gay.

    For men, softball is code for being a beer-drinking lout.

    Coed softball teams are filled with cosmo-drinking bisexuals.

    Yeah, fair or not softball and basketball always seem to be classified as "lesbian" sports, while that's not the case for volleyball and soccer.

    The Chicago Sun-Times ran that photo on the cover -- to show what a true Chicagoan she was because she played 16-inch softball at UC.
