Anybody have a clip of the press conference where Davis fires Kiffin and goes on about how Kiffin was wrong about J'Marcus and how J'Marcus was a great QB

That 1999 draft had the following QBs picked in the first round:

    1) Couch
    2) McNabb
    3) Smith
    11) Culpepper
    12) McNown

That's three giant busts and a guy (Culpepper) who flashed briliance and then faded away astonishingly quick. Awful, awful QB class salvaged only by McNabb's borderline HOF career.

Kawakami is pretty well despised at team headquarters.

Anybody who thought this guy was going to get smaller was kidding themselves.

People are raving about their latest draft class, the same who usually make a penny or two (or get web hits) from ripping everything Raiders. Maybe they're starting to get the idea that they're not there for people's amusement.

Culpepper was three bills? I thought this guy was the fattest QB in NFL history:

And Derrick Thomas and Deion Sanders.
That's what gives Mandarich such a bad rep. Four hall of famers were taken with the first five picks of that draft, three of them after Mandarich, and he was the one misfire of the group. Weird thing is, if he had been even as serviceable with the Packers as he was with the Colts at the end of his career, he might not be remembered at all.

I don't think Culpepper ever got over 300. I'd forgotten about Lorenzen. Is he even still in the league?

Yes. Jamarcus Russell has the biggest busts of any first-round draft pick.

Speaking of Lorenzen, "The Pillsbury Throwboy" may be one of the greatest nicknames ever.

Colts' No. 3 last year, wasn't he?
