Is Jake Delhomme the worst QB in the NFL?

  1. Wow. Hilarious, yet tasteless! I love it.

Or unless Jonathon Crompton gets drafted.

I didn't see yesterday's game, so I'll take your word for it, but I'd be most concerned if it really did snowball. That is exactly what happened to Delhomme last year in the playoffs. Isn't that one of the great benefits of a veteran quarterback, that he should be able to handle some adversity? If Delhomme can't even do that, that team is going to have to carry him until he buries them just like last year.

Hell, it ALSO happened against the freaking Raiders, days after they cut Deangelo Hall. Worst QB rating for a winning QB ever. But he saved the worst for last, and now he's giving us a sneak preview of the Fall 2009 line of fail.

Never thought I'd live long enough to feel like I should thank Haslett for picking Brooks over Delhomme, but if Delhomme was their quarterback coming out of the 2005 season, I don't know if the Saints would have felt desperate enough to go after Drew Brees in the free agent market in 2006.

    Hands down, it's Shaun Hill.

And the reason Carolina doesn't have a viable alternative to Delhomme is because that's how they wanted it. They have had ample opportunity to address tha problem. They don't want to.

Jake's not the worse, but my God, is he in a funk. He's definitely in the bottom quarter.

If Delhomme is this bad, the Panthers might be 3-13 bad. Or worse.

Delhomme looks done, but they don't have a replacement.
However, if you've got the stomach, watch a San Francisco game. Hill is awful.
Who is out there? If Philly has to bring in Garcia, who's left Vinny Greenhead?
