If Martha is a six on that bill, Thomas Jefferson is a seven.

 

I resent the fuck out of "for some broad". Women have been underrepresented for their place in history for centuries, and we as a country should acknowledge the role they have played in our evolution as a country.

I also don't think Hamilton should be removed from the currency, but don't denigrate a woman by calling her "some broad."

 

That's kind of the point.

They're not removing Hamilton for a specific woman of accomplishment. They're removing him for a "woman to be named later".

They must have binders of women on their desks right now.
