So, at Panera sitting next to a Pittsburgher in her 40s who's chaperoning a woman who's 95. The Panera worker is a cutie pie I think still in college. Great smile. Anyhoo ...

The Pittsburgher is talking about marriage and telling the cutie pie that before she decides to marry a guy, or even go down that path in the relationship to "check his credit report."

"So it's not about love anymore?" I ask the Pittsburgher.

"No," she said. "You've got to make sure you know what you're getting into."

So, SJ men and women, what's more important in this era, love or the credit report? Why?

God, for my sake, I hope it's love.

Though even that's close to a lost cause.

IF credit reports are a determining factor I am finished.

Damn, with my credit I'm styling.

Whoever said owning two homes by the time you're 26 is a bad thing didn't know about the new age of marriage.

Gotta go with love, Xan. Unless she's going to take care of my massive debt, that is.

Conceivably, you'll be able to pull yourself -- or each other -- out of debt eventually (or die and leave it to someone else). Love, in my opinion, is worth being in debt.

    Romantic love is a myth.
Like the sasquatch or the yeti.

Romantic love is dead, says Buck.

Is that the beginning of the end of humanity?
