Is it just me or is today the complete opposite of a slow news day?

Nationally speaking, of course. Darrent Williams, Bob Knight, NFL firings and six bowl games. I can't remember the last time I had too much stuff to fill the section with.

It was like that for us last year. We were covering one bowl game, had all of the others, and then you had all of the NFL coach firings.

And, much like last year, I don't have a whole lot of room.

How do you think we feel on the dark side in news?
It was a HUGE week between Christmas and New Year's, unlike any other I can remember.

I thought PR was "the dark side." Or the advertising dept.
