Is everyone excited for the debut of Late Night W/Jimmy Fallon?

I am tempted to tune in, like I am tempted to slow the car to a crawl when driving past a 20-car pileup, just to see how much this will suck.

At least when Conan was tanking on his first show he wasn't smirking like he thought he was the funniest guy on the planet.

Less of a trainwreck.

 

This is off to a Chevy Chase-esque start.

 

He looks like some celebrity who was called in to fill in with about 5 minutes notice.

Again: At least Conan had the excuse of having never performed before when he was crapping his pants in Sept 1993.

The singing the news thing was good, mainly because The Roots kick ass.


Give the dude a break though. It's the first damn episode.

Beginning was awful. Singing the news bit with the Roots was good. He seems nervous as everything, but it's getting better as it goes. I figured it'd be terrible. It's already surpassed my expectations.
