Is Clarence Thomas dead weight?

    His argument is that the most important part of the argument process comes during the briefs and responses that are filed before hand. I've had lawyers who argued before the high court tell me the same thing. So while you'd prefer to have some curiosity displayed, at least he's not making a fool of himself up there like Scalia sometimes does, and I'm sure other justices too.

    How do you know he agrees with you? He never says anything. Maybe he's just pushing the wrong button.
