Is Beck a Hall of Famer?

His voice is flat compared to David Bowie's.

 

There were comparisons of MGMT to a young Bowie but I don't know what MGMT has been doing lately, if anything.

He's a HOFer on his own musical merits alone, but all the love he gets from the Rolling Stone gang make it a lead pipe cinch--probably on the first ballot.

Beck getting in the Hall will be as easy as going in and out of Wisconsin...

 

The 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame field is pretty deep because 1994 was a very strong year for music. A sampling of artists who made debuts and might merit consideration: Beck, OutKast, Green Day, Jeff Buckley, Nas, Notorious B.I.G., Weezer, Oasis, Marilyn Manson, Elliott Smith, Portishead, Korn and our very own Machine Head.
