He's awesome, but he comes off as a dumb fuck.

 

I would guess that "(expletive) DC" was tongue-in-cheek. And the rest read like a dude poking fun at all the overly pretentious people acting like Dark Knight was this massively complex movie that transcended the genre.

You know, the types who say, "If you didn't GET Dark Knight, you're a dumbass!"

 

The whole quote reeked of sarcasm. I don't see why Downey had to attack the Dark Knight...he's just going to piss off the comic book geeks out there.

 

Well he didn't piss off Piotr.

 

Didn't piss me off, either, and I'm almost as much of a comic book geek as Piotr. I just wish Bale and Edward Norton would take lessons from Downey on how not to take yourself too seriously.
