First gen iPhone, here, and swear by it (and AT&T). Had a Treo with Sprint before. The Treo developed all sorts of bugs, but I held on to Sprint because of my contract. Then, along came Nextel and customer service went to shit. Finally, bagged both and went with the iPhone/ATT last March. Haven't had a single problem since. Better coverage, decent value and the phone kicks ass. Had a lirtle trouble getting used to the keypad, but fly on it now. Don't need to use Word, Excel, Powerpoint on it (who would use XL or PP on a handheld!?!?).

Best bucks I've spent in AGES.

Nextel customers refer to it as "Then along came Sprint and customer service went to shit." :D

ATT is a bitch with their iPhone. Even if you find wireless, they make you pay to use it. BASTARDS

    Huh?

If you're surfing the Web, using apps or e-mailing via WiFi it's free.

I disagree. Switched to T-Mobile five years ago and have been 100 percent pleased.

Had AT&T before that. Tons of issues; the last straw was when I moved and part of my apartment was roaming and part wasn't.

T-Mobile has no service at a grocery store about five miles from my house in an area that's been well built-up for a couple of decades now.

I think you have to compare the Itouch to an Ipod. It's not that much more and it has all the perks of an iphone without the phone.

I definitely would get it if you already have a cell phone. It's a no-brainer.

I agree. I have the Touch and a separate regular cell phone. I actually like that they are not the same unit.
