iPhone, watch your back: Windows Phone 7 Series unveiled

    The iPhone rules the mobile phone roost, but Microsoft ain't going down without a fight. Yesterday, they unveiled the Windows Phone 7 Series (whew ... that's a mouthful) smartphone at a trade show in Spain.

    I don't think that's a bad thing; for all its awesomeness, the look/interface of the latter has become pretty damn stale. At least to these eyes.

    I doubt this new gadget is a game changer, but a little competition can't hurt, right?
