iPhone activation

    Anybody have luck activating the 3G on their own or did you have to do it in the store?

    It depends if they have 3G in your area.

    Other than that, there should be no activation required.

    I have the first generation iPhone. When I came home from the store, I activated it using iTunes. There was no trouble at all.
