    Yeah, no kidding. Other states may not have people who are openly racist like this asshole. But, as a person who has dated outside of my race, there are people everywhere that will shoot you a funny look.

    Funny you should say that.
    As a Mississippian living in Louisiana, that was my reaction. But I called my mother, and her reaction was basically indifferent with undertones of agreeing with the JP.

    That's pretty sad. This is 2009. Wake the fuck up. Nothing is stopping these people from leaving the area and finding a place that will tolerate their interracial marriage. And people wonder why folks are leaving small-minded towns.
