A weekly newspaper in the Northern Virginia/Washington D.C. Metro area is in search of an intern for its high school sports desk.

    Intern duties will include
    1. Compiling briefs
    2. Copyediting
    3. Occasional game coverage
    and more...

Intern will be given the chance to develop his/her writing skills and contribute on several in-depth projects. Great place to learn. Perfect opportunity for college-level sports journalists or recent graduate looking to break in.

This is an unpaid internship and ideally should be done for college credit.
No high school applicants will be considered.

Send resume and writing samples to bjk@connectionnewspapers.com.
