From what I hear, Pitt-Western Michigan is a likely match-up.

(Assuming Pitt doesn't all of a sudden find a defense and beats Louisville this weekend.)

This has Syracuse, Eastern Michigan written all over it.

Shut your mouth. Shut it. Never utter those words again.

Now you need to go outside and toss salt over your right shoulder.

I've got tickets to this game. I love college football and since I haven't been to a live game since the 1987 Orange Bowl, I couldn't pass up a chance to see a bowl game in my own backyard. I've seen all the teams mentioned here (except the 'Cuse which would have the organizers smiling) in various online bowl projections but if Pitt makes it I will defiitely support the opponent - whoever it is - as I can't cheer for Dave Wannstedt considering how much he fucked up my Dolphins.

Not sure how sales are going. I'm sure once a matchup is annoucned they'll promote it a lot more. Some media types here think it will be a bust, I'm not sure one way or the other. Price and the time - noon on Jan. 6 - is right. Tickets are $35 to $45.

You know, what with Huggy going and me probably going, we could turn this into a mini SportsJournalists.com outing.

$45? Isn't that the cost of a season ticket package for a MAC school?

Where does it have Syracuse-W. Michigan written all over it? The Orange aren't bowl-eligible.

Can we get McGill and Windsor to play a bowl game in Florida next year? No seriously, it might be a good game for the Hosers up there to see, eh?
