Interesting sourcing on a Comcast New England Bruins story

Discussion in 'Journalism topics only' started by NathanFournier87, Sep 5, 2012.

  1. Yesterday, CSNNE.com ran a story of Keith Yandle wanting to play for the Boston Bruins. The report started off by saying sources say...which is fine but the second half of the story is what irks me.

For those who don't know HockeyyInsiderr is a twitter account run by a 17-year-old living in Montreal which was uncovered by a 16-year old in Ontario who actually works in hockey as a junior A scout.

Maybe Jonathan is wrong about who HockeyyInsiderr really is, but in either case I find CSNNE quoting a source who doesn't have any credibility with any anyone who covers hockey is being lazy with their reporting. #CONFIRMED
