injured knee

    Still be careful. My basketball team didn't have enough players for our game a week later so I put on a brace, downed some motrin and played an entire game of basketball on a completely shredded ACL. Prob the worst idea ever.

    Just go to the doctor. Don't listen to the folks on here (except my beloved DocTalk of course). Some of this stuff they're suggesting could mess your knee up worse, and having bad knees can make your life miserable down the road.

    Had a meniscus operated on last year. First surgery I'd ever had (not counting wisdom teeth). Made a world of difference. Couldn't straighten my leg before, hurt walking up stairs. Surgery was a piece of cake, walked on it a couple days later.

    Now, as Forrest Gump might say, they's magic legs.
