    Going through my iTunes division:

Devil Went Down to Georgia -- Charlie Daniels Band
Take Me Back to New Orleans -- Cowboy Mouth
Panic in Cicero -- Jesus Lizard (from the Clerks soundtrack)
    Dakota -- Stereophonics
    Beverly Hills -- Weezer

    Poetic license division:

Silver Springs -- Fleetwood Mac :D

    From the wayback machine:

    "Charleston"
    "Sweet Georgia Brown"
    "Chicago Breakdown" -- Louis Armstrong
"St. Louis Blues" -- The Mills Bros.

And how the fuck could we get so far along without the ultimate city-state song:

"I've Been Everywhere" -- Johnny Cash

One of my all-time favorite city-state songs is a song I downloaded off Kazaa about five years ago. Have no clue who sings it (it was listed as NOFX, but I don't think so) or where it's from. (Any help, SJ music experts?):

    "Fuck Y'all, We're From Texas."

I might suggest changing I-65 to I-70 for the sake of geographic accuracy. I-65 passes nowhere near the Haute.

Noticeable lack of Glenn Campbell here, who gave us "Galveston" and "Wichita Lineman."

Also, not a city, but sung by a state: "Bringing it Back to Mexico" by Kansas.

"Tennessee Stud" — variously performed, but most prominently, in my opinion, by Tennessee Ernie Ford.

Sam: As far as Allentown, the majority of people there now weren't there when the song came out (and it is a pretty accurate portrayal of the place at the time). Besides, that song helped popularize a town that really has/had no reason to be on anyone's pop culture radar.

  11. Brooklyn -- Steely Dan
    Oh, Atlanta -- Little Feat
Midnight Train To Georgia -- Gladys Knight and the Pips.
Walkin' To New Orleans -- Fats Domino
What Made Milwaukee Famous (Made A Loser Out of Me) -- Jerry Lee Lewis
Armenia City In The Sky -- The Who
