Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull predictions

Discussion in 'Anything goes' started by Bristol Insider, May 5, 2008.

  1. Now that Ironman raised the summer movie stakes with an impressive opening of $100.75 million during the weekend, anyone care to guess what old Indy is going to pull in???

This isn't 1984 and "The Temple of Doom," stupid! You'll have to pay at least $9 to see it.

I'd walk out shortly before halfway and ask for a pro-rated refund.

    So there!

If Shrek 2 and Pirates of the Carribbean 2 can top $400 million, I think Indy does as well. I'm saying $422.15 million domestically.

5-day opening grosses of $130 million domestically. $210 million worldwide.

I'll say over $100 million on opening weekend for sure.

Whatever the current record is for an opening weekend...more than that.

  10. I say it will flop.

    Floppity, flop, flop.

  11. I will venture a guess and say your prediction is in error.
HUGE first two weeks will carry it out of flophood no matter what the reviews say.
And do not fail to reckon with the box-office power of the Return of Karen Allen, my friend.
"Officers, they're looting the food king!"

  12. I just read the words "Karen Allen" and it moves.
