Players no longer have to wear bikinis, mainly to try to boost interest in the sport in more conservative countries. Shorts and T-shirts are allowed.

 

So the powers that be think taking away the only reason anyone watches this sport is going to boost its popularity? Is Isiah Thomas the women's beach volleyball commissioner?

 

This is a Ted Stepien-level decision.
