In Treatment on HBO

Finally caught up tonight. I love this show, because it's stripped down to my two favorite things: writing and acting. No plot to speak of, no locations, no cinematography. Just great writing and great acting. I hope the girl who played Sophie is at least nominated for an Emmy.

I'm glad they ended the Laura story the way they did. His attraction to her never rang true for me, and it's like in the end he finally figured out what we knew all along. In that way it followed the path of therapy -- we were sort of the therapist waiting for him to arrive at the truth.
