    They've been talking about this "reorganization" for a while, now.

    Not sure what, exactly, is coming, but there are lots of rumors around, including a persistent one that says EVERYONE in the newsroom will have to reapply for new (read: fewer) jobs.

    This paper did yeoman duty in continuing to put out a paper during the floods in Eastern Iowa with water coming into the building and the rest of the city evacuated.

    I'm keeping a good thought for everyone there.

    Steve Buttry, the editor, took over a week or so before the floods. A nice welcome to a new job.
