i like it, i wish he had promised to "mentor the youth."

Especially if the youth are packing nine inches of king-size kielbasa.

Being seen at, or coming out of, etc., a gay bar doesn't make one gay. I have been to a gay bar. I am not gay.

I have not, however, been picked up for DUI.

Did you come out of a gay bar in Sacramento with your new male friend and were blitzed?

I don't care if people are circumspect about their sexuality or tastes, but to castigate or demean those traits in others which you possess is the mark of a truly despicable person; and while not soley a exclusive trait of right wing or conservatives they certainly are more despicable than any other political group in the country. I find NAMBLA to have more charachter than these local christ preaching gun lovers.

He wanted to change Sacramento. Sacramento changed him.

The self-loathing of the anti-gay crowd gays is stifling.

Which is my my reaction to homophobia has always been one of pity.

Well, the self-loathing is part of it.

I also have just never understood how charged up people get on this issue. I can't fathom caring THAT much about someone else's sexuality.

I'm not even saying its not worthy of the emotion it provokes. Just that I don't get it. At all.
