    Debbie Boone actually did the version that became a hit single. In the movie, Didi Conn lip-synched a version of the song that was sung by someone else; I forget her name.

    NY Mag did a story about him and his son (who is being held on homicide charges). To say that he sounded like a first class dick would be an understatement.
