Ok, here a chance to pay tribute to a great, and hopefully not too forgotten, era of music, the 1970s.

Feel free to share any of the great songwriters of the era. I'm not talking about the Bee Gees, either. These are the timeless songwriters who just graced us with a handful of songs, that we can all enjoy for the rest of our lives.

Oh, you have to give a YouTube link so the song can be enjoyed by all.

I will start with the great Boz Scaggs. The last few minutes of this clip shows how great this song is, and how great it sounds live.

Maybe I just have a sweet spot for these songs because I was about six or seven when they came out, but in my eyes they are just fantastic.

Jackson Browne -- Fountain of Sorrow.

JB is a great singer-songwriter, one of my all-time favorites.

    How about some John Prine
(video is from '89, but the song is from '78)

Good piece from Jim Croce, Barsuk. I really like this one:

    Thank you, America:

Then there's this one, which comes rushing back when I go where I'm going later this week:

I would have picked this one for Terry Jacks.

Yeah I gotta draw the line at Terry Jacks.

"Seasons In The Sun" is so bad and so maudlin, I figure he had to be in on the joke.
  11. I drew the line about a mile back at ANDREW GOLD.

    You're a lonely boy, Fenian.
