Wonder if you can take binoculars to that bar? I'd like to watch the SS not doing their jobs.

If the weather is nice and you have time, just walk around.

POV at the W is nothing like it was when it was the Hotel Washington. If you're not a hotel guest, I think you need a reservation, or you'll get stuck waiting on the ground floor behind the velvet ropes.

There's a rotating rooftop bar at the Doubletree in Crystal City that's much easier to get into and has a great view of the city.

Or, just go to the Russia House. More than 100 vodka flavors, and all delicious.

I've heard parking is difficult if you go to Arlington.

Georgetown is nice if you like walking shoulder to shoulder with a billion other people and having homeless people yell at you as you walk by.

    National Harbor pwns Georgetown.

I haven't been in a while. Are there good restaurants over there yet? About that only thing Georgetown has going for it are the restaurants.

Either way, National Harbor will absolutely pummel Georgetown in about 18 months, no question.

Well, yeah, but I can only imagine the riffraff the casino will bring in.

Rosa Mexicano is a great restaurant. So is the steakhouse at the Gaylord. We're going to try the Oyster and Ale House next.

Best part will be the smaller crowds and lower table limits elsewhere in the area.

Ding! Ding! Ding! Right there is your winner.

The Russia House is my go-to spot to get your drink on; there's no other place in America quite like it.

Sold! I am going to the Russia House on Saturday night ... the chance to see MC or TV stumbling-ass drunk can't be passed up! :D

Seriously, thanks for that ... That's a definite go.
