    I so badly wished I was in Seattle this weekend instead of stacking sandbags. I very much intend on being in Baltimore for this gathering next year.

    Yes, the Guinness with Metamucil chasers will be flowing freely during the early bird dinner, my friends.

    I don't drink Guinness, doc.
    But line up the Heineken's and we'll go pint-for-pint until one of us (not me) is no longer standing.

    I might make it to NYC, but you damned sure better show up in KC in 2010. Barbecue, the Negro Leagues Museum and minor-league baseball in flyover country. How can you possibly go wrong?

    It'll have to be early July, but that's definitely doable. Otherwise, football planning starts getting in the way.
