    NCAA Project Manager - IMG College (Lexington, KY)

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Day-to-day contact with publishing staff at the NCAA. Liaison between Publishing and the NCAA as it relates to content and the production manager as it relates to job flow

    2. Obtaining, laying out and editing feature copy for NCAA championship programs.

    3. Assembly of flowsheets for advertising and editorial copy in NCAA books, including determining placement of advertisements and program size with sales staff.

    4. Coordinate with Director of Publishing to ensure projects stay within assigned budgets and timelines.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    1. Bachelor’s degree required in journalism or related communication field.

    2. Minimum of three years relevant experience in sports information, newspaper/magazine publishing or a combination of those.

    3. Excellent organizational and communication skills required.

    4. Understanding of desktop publishing systems (Quark and InDesign focused).

    5. Phone and personal interviewing experience and working/general knowledge of sports world, particularly collegiate athletics.


    Publishing Project Manager - IMG College (Lexington, KY)

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Editing programs, media guides and advertisements, including layout, proofreading, copy-fitting, conducting interviews, photo cropping, some writing and any other duties necessary for completion of project.

    2. Assembly of flowsheets for advertising and editorial copy, including determining placement of advertisements and program size with sales staff.

    3. Acting as a liaison between Publishing and partners as it relates to content and the production manager as it relates to job flow.

    4. Coordinate with Director of Publishing to ensure projects stay within assigned budgets and timelines.
