    Based on my experience, you're right. I have been gone a year last September, and just the other day, I tried to recall the memory of standing outside a locker room, waiting for the doors to open. It was hard to come up with, really.

    Reading the journalism threads on the site, I sure don't miss it. People yes, what the industry's become - absolutely not.

    That's great that you're going back to school and that you did well on the test.

    Not to be a killjoy, but if you're going to be working for someone else, the things you listed in your third graf are likely going to be issues, no matter what industry or employer you work for. Just sayin'.

    Still, it's great that you've chosen a direction and did well on the test. It can't help but be an improvement on the news industry.
