I'm pretty sure they never screened movies like this when I was in college

    We actually had the three-disc special edition of the first Pirates at my house last year. It was great viewing at my graduation party after all of the aged relatives left.

    ....and you all think I'm kidding. I've got witnesses.

    The best part about that story is the pop-up ad for UC Davis' school of business management, which promises "A great learning environment."

    We had a screening of a porno when I was in college. I forget the title, but it was a kind of Valley Girls escort service type thing.
    I remember my roommate saying he wanted to wear a big paper mache dick to the show, and run in front of the screen yelling "Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!"

    It was the late 1970s, they showed one of the "Emmanuelle" softcore movies. Didn't go, though. I think I went to visit the family that weekend or I probably would have seen it because I didn't miss many movies. The strangest one that I remember was "Zabriskie Point." I think there was an orgy scene in Death Valley.
