    At my paper, they had to put signs on the stall doors that say something to the effect of: "In deferrence to your co-workers, please take your reading materials with you and dispose of properly. It is very unsanitary to leave newspapers and magazines in the stall."

    I wonder if that goes for cell phones too.

    At my old shop, I was always pissed if someone didn't leave the paper hanging over the handrail. Hell, you're going to wash your hands when you're done anyway. As long as you aren't gnawing on an apple while sitting and reading the stall newspaper, you're probably fine.
