Kinda an offshoot of the EWF thread. Post your favorite marching band performances/covers here:

A cheat, I know, but the arrangement is tiiiiiiiiiiiighhhht.

Saw Troy at the First and Last Silicon Valley Football Classic. Love their sound - they blend "big band" and the classic southern marching music.

I once saw Norfolk State's marching band perform at Mardi Gras. They were great.

I like the marching, and the tradition, band nerds dancing the "Time Warp" - but it's still got to be about the music and I don't know if a P5 school really brings the goods. They all sound the same. Give me some interesting arrangements, surprising choices and mash-ups. For all their "rep" Stanford's band is terrible musically.

Pound for pound there’s no better P5 band than WVU.

There is nothing like going to an HBCU "Classic" and getting a halftime band vs. band. The best I've seen was N.C. Central vs. N.C. A&T. Obviously, Southern-Grambling is top drawer. And Florida A&M's Rattlers put on a tremendous show.

If you’re looking for the gold standard, don’t look at anything that’s hopelessly midwestern.
