I'm in a tornado and earthquake warning

Sweet Mother of Pearl Jam!!!

A 4.7 earthquake just rocked my little geographically stable corner of the world and the tornadoes are supposed to hit in a few hours as Oklahoma, God's gift to severe weather, is sending a line of storms this direction now.

Sure the New Madrid fault is a couple hours north and east, but here, earthquakes just make no sense.

Going to be a long night. A very long night.

 

It was actually two earthquakes, about 15 minutes apart. The first was a 4.7 and the second was a 3.8.

 

Whatever you do, don't go to the drive-in. Those tornadoes will find you! Especially if you're watching the Shining and contemplating whether or not you should follow through on signing those divorce papers with your first wife.

Well, unless the roof caves in or gets blown off, I suspect I'll sleep right through anything else.

 

If its the earthquake I read about, you're very much in the New Madrid zone.

 

4.7 isn't an earthquake, its a sneeze.
