Just saw a commercial for these...

...and my mind immediately went to these...

    http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=steamer

Am I being immature or is this a gross (sorry) oversight by Healthy Choice?

I think the terminology is common enough that they shouldn't have used it. That said, nice work on the gross oversight ;)

This one certainly didn't begin well, and it certainly won't...

Right when I read steamers in the thread title, my mind went to the Cleveland veriaty, which gets way more love than the Cincinnati hotplate.

Something tells me we overestimate the number of people who by default think "ewww" when the word "steamer" is said. I've seen lots of seafood joints use the term, and they draw people. The Urban Dictionary isn't that ubiquitous.

My reaction was actually, "How is that different from any other frozen meal?" Yeah, they are all sealed in plastic and count on steam, and calling it that doesn't make it new or healthy.

And I'd say 98 percent of America knows nothing of the other kind of steamer.

i'm somehow shocked the cleveland steamer doesn't include at least something to do with the browns.

Aren't the words "steamer" and "frozen" mutually exclusive?
