I feel like one of those people staring at all the Trump voters.

Good God, I live with these people?

At some point in the 90s Chris Berman became "Chris Berman." It might have been the MNF deal where he seemed like he was performing more than just presenting.

kind of think the same thing happened with Jam Master Johnny Sterling. The nicknames now are so f'n bad it seems like his grandkids make them up.

I always hated those, and I'm a Yankees fan.

I don't usually go back and say I knew something sucked when I was a kid, but I never thought the nicknames were funny.

This general quality turned me off to sports "analysis" shows altogether. Berman is exhibit a. Steven A. Smith is a notch behind only because of seniority. I choose not to have people yelling at me if I don't have to.

I remember when he made a tight-camera "special comment" when Dan Snyder fired Norv Turner as the Redskins were still in a playoff hunt, years ago.
Of course, being the Redskins they made a total fkn fiasco of it, nearly appointing 98-year-old Pepper Rodgers head coach and blowing up the staff.
It was the wrong thing to do, but Berman delivered about a 2-minute soliloquy on it, on Primetime, bashing Snyder and the team.
It was the kind of crap that had never been done on that show before.
